Ken Bossard founded Good Faith Hard Money LLC on the same standard he has applied throughout a thirty-year career in Washington, D.C. area real estate: assess the deal honestly, communicate clearly, and help clients make the most profitable decision available to them.

Ken’s path into hard money lending began as a nonprofit Housing Counselor and Realtor, giving him an early, ground-level view of how financing decisions affect real outcomes for buyers, sellers and communities. He went on to spend over thirty years as a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer (NMLS #2189943), including roles as a top Renovation Mortgage Specialist with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and as a Community Banker Mortgage Loan Officer with Bank of America.

Ken holds an MBA in Real Estate Development from The George Washington University, which shapes how he evaluates every transaction: not just as a loan, but as a development decision. He brings a developer’s eye to underwriting — looking at basis, scope, and exit the way a builder or investor would, not just the way a lender would.

Ken also holds an M.A. in Interactive Journalism from American University, and spent years as a professional writer. That background gives Good Faith Hard Money a level of clarity and directness in how deals, terms, and conditions are communicated — no jargon, no ambiguity, no fine print used to obscure rather than inform. It also informs how the company uses technology, social media, and AI integration to serve borrowers and capital partners more efficiently.
